The Venue
GSLMUN'26 is proudly hosted at Galatasaray High School (Galatasaray Lisesi). Established in 1481, it is the oldest and most prestigious high school in Turkey. Situated in the vibrant heart of Istanbul directly on the historic Istiklal Avenue, the school's breathtaking architecture and rich diplomatic heritage provide the perfect, inspiring backdrop for our Model United Nations conference.
Transportation
T1 & T2 TRAMWAY
You can take the T1 Tramway to the Kabataş stop and connect via Funicular, or ride the historic T2 Nostalgic Tramway which runs along Istiklal Avenue and stops right in front of our historic gates at the Galatasaray stop.
M2 METRO
The M2 Yenikapı - Hacıosman Metro Line is one of the fastest ways to arrive. You can get off at either the Şişhane station (Istiklal exit) or Taksim station. From both stations, it is a brief and pleasant walk to the venue.
BUS (IETT)
Due to its central location, the venue is accessible via numerous bus lines operating throughout Istanbul. Lines such as 27E, 29C, and 41E serve the nearby Taksim and Tepebaşı main stops.
FERRY & MARMARAY
If arriving from the Asian side, take a scenic ferry ride to Kabataş or Karaköy. Alternatively, you can take the Marmaray intercontinental commuter rail to Yenikapı and easily transfer to the M2 Metro line.
