The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) is dedicated to promoting gender equality and protecting women’s rights worldwide. This committee will address the regulation of reproductive rights under international human rights law, focusing on the role of human rights frameworks, reproductive autonomy, abortion legislation, and cultural and religious concerns. Delegates are expected to critically evaluate existing international legal principles and work towards creating constructive resolutions addressing the complexities of reproductive rights.
